I have a problem with men with children and it's not so much the children it's the babies momma's and the men telling me what all they have to do with their children, I don't understand if he's dating me why is he paying his baby momma's car note, taking her out, buy her clothing, and when ever she is coming over i must leave, and i am not allow to leave anything of mines there, he even threw away my nightgown i left hanging on his bathroom door.
He has never bought me any clothing or paid my car note, however he would take me out to seafood dining, i don't eat seafood
Am I being foolish or what?

I don't blame you. I have one child but avoid men with more than one child because they are paying out child support to the ex and still have to have a relationship with her when it comes to the children which means I would never be the only one. Don't waste your time with a man who can't give you 100%

I married a man that had two kids and I had one, then we had one together. Hardest thing I have ever done is raise his children. I'm only 29 and the children are all under the age of 8. But from this experience I say run like hell!!

There is nothing wrong with you not wanting to date men with children, so why do you? If he's still doing all that for the Mom of the child I'd venture to say he still has hopes for them. He doesn't owe her anything. As far as the child, he should pay his support, see the child as much as possible, keep insurance on it and be there when the child needs him.

Sorry...I laughed at the seafood dining comment...

As to not dating men with children. You're not wrong or bad. This is a guy who is wrapped around his ex's finger and doesn't know how to get off of it. Does the ex know about you?

Sounds like your guy needs to grow a set of testicles!!! Sorry...likely you're option is to leave him...you'll be happy that way.

i think you have a point. you are suppose to be the man's woman now, and she is getting attention that you deserve. men with children come with baggage and sometimes its not fun to deal with. i know if i was in your postion i wouldnt stick around...

You're just being practical. You are supposed to pay your own bills though.
