i gotta question. my mom found this lil Texas teddy bear that sings a little song like "i have a never ending love for you and now thats all i wanna do..." she thinks he would love it for christmas. i think he's a man deployed in iraq & wouldn't want a cute lil teddy bear that sings. help!

Being a former soldier who just left Iraq for the second time, I really would not want the teddy bear I would rather have a beer. But getting one from the one I loved was great . It was something that was not "me" and reminded me of that person. So in the end I had 5 teddy bears that sat in a locker in Baghdad that I looked at every morning for a second and made me feel like I was home if but for an instant. I had 5 because I have 4 daughters and a wife. Send him the damn bear so he can hide it and think of you!!! :)

You're right, you and him could get in alot of trouble if the porn is found. When my hubby was there, they were checking all boxes carefully. Many got in trouble. Someone nasty got ahold of a friends box and shared naked pics of the guys wife with anyone and everyone.
Anyways, in answer to your question, the guys over there don't mind teddy bears. Especially if it comes from a loved one at home. Our daughter sent my hubby one of hers and everyone talked (in a good way) about how it was on his cot at all times. Sometimes, little things mean the most.

he's in Iraq he needs a cuddly bear that sings about love from someone who loves him. Send the bear, a bra sprayed with expensive perfume a g string you wore for the day and some dirty magazines (don't put the magazines on the customs ticket).

OK so maybe it doesn't sound like the ideal gift for a man, especially a military man. but things like that can surely make someone laugh and make their day. its hard, especially overseas something like that surely would make his day. (just hope he doesn't get beat down by colleagues)
