Sure, but not to the point where i had to break down and buy into someone's mythology. I mean, what do you take me for, some kind of mythology whore?

It's tested everyday. WHen I said the last good bye to my son and when my fiance was murdered...my faith was VERY tested. Most of the my life I have felt so alone and unloved (even though I am a christian) and my faith is tested about that. I have doubted God a lot of times and that's a test...I could write a book on this ?

You don't need to know how my faith was tested, but it was. I could have just "hung up" everything that had to do with religion, but what brought me to my senses was Calvinism and the idea that God does not owe me anything. And God is still God, and believing that he does not exist accomplishes nothing. He isn't there to provide life on a silver platter, but He does give you tools (and sometimes a miracle or two) to get things back together.

If I told you all that I have been through, I can hardly believe it myself. God is faithful, that is a fact. There was a time when I believed God existed by faith, now I believe because it is so very obvious. God has been there when the world was crumbling around me. Oh God is real, I know it to be true d:O)

ummm...my faith has been tested and broken. i was molested by 4 of my relatives when i was 5 years old.. prayed every day for my daddy not to hurt me anymore, but nothing happened. ..thats the biggest thing..but there is much more such as my sister has been to prison for the third time now and is pregnant with her 6th child. she is 27 and she is a meth addict. iHence, the reason i dont believe in god.

faith is thoroughly ******* arbitrary. people can persuade themselves to have faith regardless of they like. Frankly, i think of absolutely everyone that converts absent of a few form of massive non secular adventure (study: hallucination) they're in simple terms being intellectually cheating. maximum people attempt to pass with the aid of their lives without thinking too perplexing, so it probable would not project them.

Sit down and let your minds come up and gone. The point is not to follow. Let it in and let in out. See how long you can be. When you know you are waiting the piece of mind come up then it is a little bit sucess.

Watching my father die a slow and horrible death... That made me doubt many things. At the time, *I wondered if God was so powerful, why would he let someone be destroyed the way my father was.
