Yes there is, you can tell her the old saying"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Since you are holding her get her next to a mirror and ask her to look at your smile when you hold her. This should make her smile and then tell her only a pretty women like you could brighten up my life like this. If she needs more proof of her beauty, tell her your going to take her out. Discuss with her that this is a special date and that for this day you pamper her with hair,make-up,nails and wardrobe(if her closet is filled with tags on clothes you both should pick something ) The ideal of this is to pick something that compliments her figure and makes her feel sexy along with your conversation of course. You will have to keep your horns in if she looks stunning because this is to show her that beauty on the inside will come on the outside with the feelings you have for her. PS. if she looks good men will look and her disposition might change about her self so you better lock her down before doing this or she might just go it alone. Good luck and work what you have to so you can get what you want. God bless. :)

I've read all the other answers and I don't agree with the ones who have said "Tell her that she's beautiful." Because she seems to think she is ugly, telling her she's beautiful might actually seem too insincere. I would, however, tell her "I find you very attractive. I especially like your ....... " (eyes, hair, smile). Fill in the blank yourself.

If she continues to say that she's ugly, try to quickly change the subject because, as someone said, "She just wants attention." She obviously isn't getting it at home. Don't put her down but gently say "You're attractive to me and that's all that matters. And do you know who's ugly? Cinderella's step-sisters are ugly! The Wicked Witch of the West is ugly! You can't even compare to them! " And make her laugh........ :o)

She obviously has a low self esteem. When she says she's ugly, & you naturally respond with "No YOU aren't" , by using the "YOU" reference you keep her mind focused on herself, & her own beliefs.
It will be harder for her to argue back, or disbelieve you if you speak in the " I ". Try saying, "I believe that you are really pretty".
When you say it that way, you turn the focus on yourself, & your own beliefs, instead of hers, & it's harder for her to dismiss your feelings or beliefs because she doesn't truely know how you feel.

You can go further by saying how it hurts you when you hear her putting herself down, that you care for her & won't let anybody say harmfull things about her, not even herself.

Lot's of beautiful young girls feel ugly, but they eventually grow out of it. Just keep giving her positive attention, she wants to hear it.

after a while, you're gonna get sick of having to tell her she's pretty. Tell her you're not going to keep saying it all the time any more. If she wants to believe otherwise, that's fine but just know that you find her attractive. It might hurt her feelings because you aren't going to keep fawning over her, but better to tell her straight up then have you get angry later and want to have nothing to do with her because she wants you to constantly tell here she's pretty. Good luck.

yes sir you can say other things. some comedic yet perfect things to say when someone says that (off the top of my enormously small head):

1. if ugly means hott, then yes
2. ummmmmmmmmmmm no
3. liar liar pants on fire
4. passhhhaaaaa no
5. you kid
6. you joke
7. you crazy beast, you
8. well that's funny
9. o-m-g (yes say the letters) are you c-r-a-z-y
10. you need to buy a new mirror
11. who said?
12. pish posh!
13. boom shakalaka

okay the last one's a joke but still, you get what i mean...have fun and make sure she knows you think she's pretty. it'll warm her heart. hope i helped.

Use your actions to show her... always treat her nice... Pretty isn't what matters though.... tell her it is the eye of the beholder... tell her you would still see her as pretty even if she grew ugly, cause you see the real her... you see what a wonderful person she is.

Yes, I would tend to go for overkill here or she just may not believe you mean it. Still try to be honest, say what you really think.

~You are the most beautiful girl in the world to me.
~You are the prettiest girl in this school/our class.
~You are the prettiest girl here.
~etc. etc.

You probably get my drift. An honest response is bound to do her wonders. She'll know if you don't really mean it.

Tell that you think that she is pretty and keep telling her. Girls have this problem all the time about weight and looks, they never think they are good enough. Just keep telling her that you think that she is pretty, beautiful, gorgeous, ext... Whether she admits it or not, she appreciates it.
