me and my friend like this guy. the thing is that we have no classes with him and practicely dont know him. we see him around the halls all the time and he looks at us a lot. but we dont even talk to him. we have never said a word to him. i have no idea why i like him. i wanna go talk to him, but i dont know what to say. it would be weird if i just went up to him and introduced myself, he'd be kind of weirded out. so what do i do? by the way, im in 7th grade.

You know its only weird because you've never done it. Take a deep breath and take the plunge to just go up and talk to him.
Lets say he's wearing a shirt that has a popular band on it. Go up and say "Hey I just love (name of band), my favorite song is (name of song). Have you ever seen them in person?" He answers. Respond (it doesn't really matter if he says yes or no) "I can't wait until they come into town, I'm so there! Oh, I'm sorry....Hi my name is (your name here)" Then flash your sauciest grin. Hopefully he will say his name to you. Respond, "Well (his name if he gave it), I have to get to class, see you around!" Flash that grin again, he will probably grin back and say okay or something else lame. But hey you broke the ice!!! Now walk to class with confidence.

I sympathize with your situation. Initiating conversations is tough.
All that I can say though is if you see an opportunity do not hesitate (you will only regret it) and it is very unlikely that he will think badly of you for it. At the very least he'll be flattered, at best it will turn out that he likes you too.
Don't waste those opportunities though.

Do you know his name? If not, try something really basic, like "Hey!" things should go from there... If you want, you could ask him his name or something more along those lines... no matter how you go about it, things are going to be awkward.

i say you go up, introduce yourself, and see what happens,
he will probably admire the fact that you had the guts to do it.
and if you dont you may never get anywhere with it, so go for it, and good luck!

just start saying hi when you pass by then if he stil wont talk then just ask him his name and start from there
