First... I agree with everyone else that you are already underweight.
Diets aren't just for losing weight. Diets are what we eat. What I would strongly recommend is that you attempt to eat more quality foods to improve your health and well-being. Since you feel like it would be fun, why not do something good for yourself? Cut out sugar and junk food, especially anything with trans-fats on the label. Eat lots of fruits, vegetables, healthy fats and quality protein. Talk to your mom and check around the web for ideas on healthy foods for snacks, etc.
You will be amazed at how much your complexion, hair, skin, fingernails and everything else improves.
From the weight loss you've already described I promise you that you are on your way to anorexia if you aren't careful. Anorexia can kill. It is almost incurable and would stay with you for life so do yourself a HUGE favor and start eating super healthy. At your age it will be easy to make it permanent.

well it really up to u but first i would check with ur parents and then find healthy diets but to me 74pounds is not allot and u could really do damage to ur body i know my moms a nurse and she deals with things like this all the time. its just not healthy i think that the average for a 5"1 12 year old should at lest be 100 pound sor nothing under 95 pounds

I wouldn't if I were you. You're still growing, so your bones and mussle need the vitamins and minerals from normal food in order to grow properly. Infact, 74 pounds is really uncomon for someone who is 5"1'. Don't go into peer pressure either. Just because others are doing it, doesn't mean its the best for you or its nessisary for you to do it.

NO. your BMI (body mass index= the total of ur height and weight) is BELOW what it is suppose to be. Dont go on a diet. If you want to be healthy just eat good foods...not like....salad every meal but the best thing is to just keep yourself healthy. A diet...not the answer. :D

1- your not over weight ! your slim and may be need some weight gain
2- you shouldn't be displaying your self like that out here coz not all ppl are good ( more than some are really jerks )
3- you don't go in a diet coz your friend is on one you go on it when you NEEEEEEEEEED it . its like a medicine ! would you take any just coz your friend is taking some nevertheless your sick or not !!!!!
and by the way your gonna go on a diet later on whether you like it or not in your 20`s 30`s 40`s YOU WILL BELIEVE ME
