It's called a restraining order. If you can show cause why the order should be signed by a judge, you can apply for one. You have to have a good reason though.

I assume you ask this because you feel the need for protection.
You could ask a lawyer, if you can afford it.
You could check with your county courthouse.
Your local police could probably give you a referral.
You could contact Legal Aid or Community Legal Services in your area. (Yellow Pages)

It's called a restraining order or an order of protection........and you might as well wipe your a$$ with it if you get one because the cops usually don't give a damn to enforce the order of the courts when it comes to domestic violence. Buy a gun and terminate the basterd.
