My naturopath recommended spending some time in the sun, so perhaps it can be related to vitamin D deficiency, but what others have already said is very good as well. Nutrition and proper sleep make a big difference. Often allergies such as food sensitivities can be to blame. It's likely a good idea to be checked for food sensitivities. It's not the kind of allergies that are tested through the skin-prick test at your family doctor however. It's a test for a different immunoglobulin. I highly recommend a DVD called "Allergies: A Natural Approach." It's highly informative and, even if it doesn't help you with the circles under your eyes (which I'm sure it will), there are likely lots of other pieces of information you'd benefit from.

You can probably borrow it from you local library, too, and then it's free.

I have read an article about this.

As you age the skin gets thinner and the skin under the eyes is thinner then the rest of your face. It's the blood vessel showing through your skin. There are very good concealers you can use to hide them.

Get Vitamin K cream at the drugstore. This is very good for dark circles under the eyes.

If you have a Avon Rep ask them if they have anything that will get rid of the dark circles. A cheaper thing to try is to use a freshly used tea bag...warm...not hot. the tannin in the tea is supposed to help with this, and using fresh cucumber slices works too. Try to get enough sleep.

Sounds like you just have bags under your eyes. Eat right, excercise, get plenty of sleep, and don't smoke. Should clear up in a few weeks.

Try a vitamin c cream. You can find it at any drug store. They can get pretty expensive, but they definitely work! Also good for lines that are around the eyes.
