As far as I know, the letters of the alphabet were the same in Shakespeare's time. At one time (before Shakespeare) u and v were the same letter (the difference was whether it was used at the beginning of the word or not) as were i and j. In handwriting and some printing there was a 'long s', which looks like an 'f' to us today.
