My friend and I are thinking about using fake tan because we are beyond pale. We would look bad if we have blonde hair?

No, you don't look bad, and you shouldn't tan either. I personally prefer paler skin. Everyone wants to be dark skinned now days, because apparently that's what is in fashion. But, what's better than what is in fashion, is being different. People say they like different, and that they're different, but when someone is truly different, in even the slightest way, they are made fun of, or given names that people think are so clever. It doesn't matter what people think, or call you. I'm sure they have their share of things worth making fun of as well. If you'd rather be tan, be tan for you. Don't change something just to fit in.

Depends on how dark you want to go. Start with spray on tans and light application. A slight bronze looks like you've been outside, perhaps to exercise....thus people call it a "healthy" look. It has nothing to do with helathy.

Actually with blonde hair your skin tone should be light to a very light medium. Anything deeper looks funny.

With the babyboomer affliction towards bronze skin we see many middle-agers now fighting sun spots, wrinkles and skin cancer. The damage starts showing up in the late 20's to early 30's.

We don't know if spray-on tans are safe.....are those chemicals safe??? We know solar skin tanning isn't safe. So what I'm saying is........play up your light skin tones. Protect it at all cost!!!! Once it is gone baby, it is gone. Look at older women who have protected their skin......they look great well into their 80's!

If you want to get fake tans, fine, just don't go overboard....fake tans look real bad when they are excessive.

As long as you're not too tan it's ok, but a dark tan on a blonde makes her look fake . . . and worse! Blonde hair and fairly light skin go together more naturally!

Just don't get a real tan and you'll be fine. But why? Pale looks fine/healthy.

No that won't look bad at all. DO NOT overtan though. Then you get that fake cheap looking tan, either that or you turn orange!

i don't like when blondes do it too much...don't use fake tan...please!! if anything, use that glow cream from neutrogena..it really works...and you won't look like you've been in the oven for a longer time than you should've been...blondes are meant to be light skinned...embrace it!!! love yourself!!

yeah. dont get one. just get a tanning lotion. ive tried one and they work well. and if its not tan enough for you, you can keep reapplying it. it looks natural, trust me. dont go to a tanning salon, it damages your skin, and you would look lilke snotty people in laguna beach. aye?
