I've never seen $1/$2 limit in Vegas. Most casinos are going to offer at least $2/$4 or $3/$6 at the lowest limit games. You can also find $1/$3 no limit at some casinos, including the new room at TI.
I take it from your question that you are an online player. The kind of micro limit games you are used to seeing online, are just not going to happen in a real casino. The overheads are so much higher having to finance real staff, dealers and provide the equipment and building.
If you can't afford $1/$3 no limit or $3/$6 limit, you probably should give poker in Vegas a miss. Or you might consider some of the low stakes tournaments they run every day. Look in the back of Card Player magazine and you will see listings of tournaments starting as low as $50 in Vegas every day. This way you can play a tournament for a few hours (if you're good) knowing that the maximum you can lose is your buy in. Of course you'll have to learn to play no limit, as almost every tournament is a no limit hold'em one.

Wow, that mKeith is a long-winded SOB......... But he's dead on. Calling here is a bad play. You raised, 5 reraised, and SB RE-reraised! The absolute best you can hope for, given the table images and bets of the players involved, is something like AK and underpair, and it's quite possible you're looking at the AA or KK. There's almost no chance that you're favored, and I doubt you're even a 25% to win, so run away. Go ahead and fold, because 5 can't possibly fold to the 107 reraise with 347 in the pot, so even if you can't win any money, you'll get some cheap information on these two players! --------------------------------------..... After I typed this, I went back and read the rest of mKeith's novel. Turns out he made every single observation I did, right down to the 'getting cheap info' ....... Even though his winning % calculations were off (the way he did it is only valid against a single opponent, your actual percentages are far more complicated, and lower) I think you should give that man a best answer! (and ask him to look up "...the soul of wit.")
