3 days ago we took our 3 kittens that my male cat had brought home to the vet because they had sore eyes and colds.
2 of the kittens are fine now but they both have 1 blue eye but there eyes are green.
The vet said they MIGHT lose there sight and i am really worried that they have both gone blind in 1 eye.
The other kitten is sick, with 2 sore eyes ,sleeps most of the time but eats and drinks fine.
He has been sick for 2-3 days now and they are all on medicine and eye drops.
So if any1 can tell me if 2 kittens with the blue eyes (Stitch & Jaffa)
are going or gone blind and what can i do to help (Sky) with his cold.

thanx alot xoxooxx

I used to have a white cat with blue eyes that turn green in summer. I don't know if this is the case but it is easy to check if they are blind or not. From time to time you can sway a little thin string in front of them, see if they see it (not hear it) and go after it. Usually if a sick cat keeps eating and drinking fine, it will be OK.

We used to have a neighbor who owned a blind cat. They kept it indoor and away from dangerous wires etc indoor. It died at the age 14 - you see care and affection always work with cats!
Good luck though, hope the vet knows exactly what happen...

I've never heard such a thing - I heard white cats with blue eyes are deaf but I've never heard anything about blue eyed cats going blind. Maybe keep the sick kitty separated from the well kitties until she gets better but I've never heard anything about their eye color affecting their sight but oddly enough affects their hearing.

That is probably a respiratory virus. Must be seen by a vet or will lose total vision. The cats are also contagious once they get this virus.

Well, you can always wash their eyes whenever you can and give them the eyedrops and to help the cold just keep him nice and warm and see if he needs to go on medication.

honestly, this is something you need to discuss with your vet. Without knowing the medical history no one could answer this question other than your vet who is best qualified to know.
