If you are in your late 20s/early 30s and have kids, I want to hear your fun/meaningful gift ideas. We're on a tight budget but want to give our parents something meaningful to thank them for all of their help this year.

We're getting everyone together for a family portrait. Our 10 month olds are the first grandchildren on both sides and we figure that this will be a great gift for everyone in the family.

As a mother and grandmother, I got a wonderful present last Christmas from my daughter who is in her early 30's. It was a picture of my 3 children on a plate. I just treasure that gift and it wasn't expensive. I'm not sure where she had it made but you can google search to see if you can find something like this. Or maybe check a photo store.

my mom goes to Tennessee three times a year to get away and shop:) I get her gift certificates to restaurants in the area she stays and also gas cards.....Its not impersonal because she enjoys going and I like the fact that she doesn't have to worry about canceling a trip because of gas prices. good luck and happy holidays!
