The seven year old child will be coming my house. All I have to do is provide lunch and to supervise him for his studies until the parents come and collect him in the evenings.How much should I charge a month?

I would charge just as I pay @ least $4.00 an hour ... baby sitting may not be the hardest job in the world but it can be very frustrating and think about the babysitter... they gave up whatever their plans were to babysit for you to go out and have a good time... which they didn't have to do

OK, make sure that you have a complete understanding of what is expected of you, because sometimes the parents can assume things that you know nothing about so make sure it is very clear what is expected of you!
If the child will come to you on their own meaning you don't have to pick them up from school or after school then a reasonable fee per month should be anywhere from $450 to $500. Now this also depends on how long the child is in your care, because usually providers charge $10 to 15 per hour. So you decide and I hope this was helpful.

In Singapore, like your case, should be S$400 to S$500 per month. Babysitting in our country command very good pay that why alots of family replaced it with a foreign maid. For your info, some babysitter lay down with conditions like "medical leaves ", "annual leave";etc. Similar to normal working benefits minus no "CPF". Even with the "baby bonus" given by the government, is nothing to this expenses.

i get paid 5 an hour and 5 per kid so if i got 3 kids which i usually do i got 15 off the bat and i usually babysit for like 5 hours once or twice a week in the end of one session i usually get about $40 every time i babysit

I have a daycare and we charge $120 a week set rate for the whole week per child usually between the hours of 7:30am-5pm

Since he''s not a young child and doesn't require as much care, you should charge about 3 or maybe 3.5 and maybe another 50 cents a day for food.

for any babysitting job it is suppose to be $3 and hour per child

We're in about the same position. we just get payed 3.50/hour. my mom's not to happy bout it but it's not like the works that hard. except its the most annoying kid on the planet.
