Yes it can be unsafe because magik is tied to your emotions. If you are consumed by your emotions your not focused on the objective of your spell. This can hinder the spell and its ability to be carried out effectively and safely.

Yes, everything you do has an action and a reaction. Never do magick while under any kind of influence wither it be depression, alcohol , or any other related things. Situations can get out of hand and unknowns can come in unaware. Please be careful. Even the simplest things can go wrong. Every cause has an effect and every action has a reaction. Also remember anything you do comes back three fold, this could be good or bad.

Always unsafe. Doesn't it sort of break the first commandment about not having other gods? At least it takes away from depending on God
Is magic really supposed to replace all that God does and is, like forgiving everyone who is sorry?

I think so. While you are in depression you can draw evil or black spirits to you. Make sure each day you ask God for the white light of protection and a shield of armour around you (extending from the center of the earth to the heavens). Ask for his protection from evil.
Dark spirits are drawn to down people. Protect yourself from them and pray often. Stay away from Magic as you do not know what kind of spirits you will draw around you. It can cause you more harm that good.

I think this an interesting question because I recently started getting intensely depressed and I became very interested in magic and psychics. Why does this happen? I don't think it's good for the soul, however.

Oh, Chefed#1... please look up something on spirituality before you open your mouth to look like a fool.
Aside from that humorous interlude...
yes. If you have actual depression, the best thing I can tell you to do is get to a doctor and get help. Depression sucks, I know, I've been there.

It is unsafe to do magick at any time. You are dealing with powers that will lead you astray and deceive you.
There are 2 ways to live.
Read the Holy Bible instead.
