yes it is a good workout for your abs

when I was training for boxing we used this exercise with a partner

lay on your back and raise your legs and have your partner drop the medicine ball on your stomach..... start with sets of 10 then switch.

start out light..... the longer u do it the harder u can take it....... it is a good exercise

good luck

I'm sure if it is done too hard it could cause internal injuries but a lot of exercises if done wrong could cause injuries....... as long as u take it slow u shouldn't have a problem......... if it hurts then go easier and work up.

i think that might hurt..

i know that slapping the stomach while doing sit ups or crunches incorporates the abdominal mucles much more than if they weren't being hit.

but a medicine ball seems a little too heavy..you could quite possibly get hurt

For a man it is safe - no risk of internal injury. But for a girl/woman I do not think it is advisable to try these.

ouch. i think it depends on the weight of the ball and person sitting on them.and on how strong the other person is. they probably could suffer injuries. good question!
