I believe it's an automatic, but you can shift early/downshift if you desire. You shouldn't have to mess with it if you don't want to.

Its your lucky day buddy. I worked at dodge selling cars for a bit. And I'm a technician. Auto-stick is just like a manual except its not, in that the transmission takes care of the clutch for you! Step on the gas and shift up, or tap it to the + side when your RPMs hit about 4k or as you start using it you'll get the feel of it and shift when you feel necessary. If you wanna slow down a little bit you tap it to the - side. If you've never driven a manual trans. it might take some getting used to. When you start going from a stop you have to be in 1/first. 2/second is typically best for turns or in parking lots and dealing with speed bumps! So If U need to know anything else let me know. Tunder_kitty@yahoo.com Good luck. Have fun. Practice in a parking lot first! Also... unfortunately, it does have a little bit of a delay so if you have driven a stick, you may be disappointed. Control of the clutch is everything in my opinion.

Hello, It is an automatic transmission when put in "D" (drive) but if its in 1,2,or 3 it is like a manual transmission but you dont have to work a clutch. Its nice to have when pulling a trailer or when slowing down on hill in the snow, to keep your rpm's high when needed. By the way, you can manually shift all 4 gears but 4th is drive, so it goes 1,2,3,D.
Hope this helps.

there's a distinction between a "maintenance mandatory" easy that comes on after a undeniable mileage, and a "verify engine" easy, so reject the 1st answer. in no way take your battery cable off to reset a verify engine easy. At ultimate you will would desire to reset your clock and radio presets, at worst the protection equipment will close down the complete automobile, and it will come again on lower back if the situation nonetheless exists so it is an workout in futility besides, so reject the 2d answer. considering you added gas, probability is the gas cap is only loose. bypass turn it till it clicks, and that i will wager you a dollar the sunshine will bypass off. no longer as we talk, yet after an afternoon of driving. bypass lower back to 89 at your next fill, regardless of the undeniable fact that it won't injury you to force the automobile. interior the form the sunshine does survive, only take it in and characteristic them test for errors codes and propose you from there.
