as good as you can do!!!! i plays piano too so i know how it feels to play piano in front of people. If it's piano competition, then the audience should know well about piano. So, if you wanna win it you have to play best! I think 'play best' means that you can memorize it and losing yourself. All you feel just like playing in the empty praire where there are none. There is only you and your beautiful music.

well it's a competition so of course you gotta be great!
and also depends on what kind of competition it is and who you're competing with.

play your favourite song that you and the judges will like. play it with passion, and not with difficulty or sternness, because it will make it seem like you dont want to be up there.
