Sounds like she has been diagnosed with a condition know as Ascites. It can be associated with liver problems, but also with appendicitis, or inflammation of the colon such as diverticulitis. It is also associated with several chronic conditions.

Simply put, other fluid containing organs lose the fluid, due to disease or infection, into the abdomen where it accumulates (in the peritoneal cavity.) I am a paramedic and believe this is the condition you are describing. The below URL's will help you understand.

The cause for bloated Stomach,Ascites could be a various of disorders;from ulcers, chronic constipation, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, with Constipation; or even intestinal blockage and adhesions.such as endometriosis or Peritonitis which accounts for the fluid in her stomach. .

If the bloating is located more on the left lower side, it could be something to do with the colon. Does she have regular bowel movement?

If she experiences hearthburn and bloating at the same time; and a lot of short and sharp pains in lower left abdomen. She might be having problems with her kidneys and her liver. This is in the case of pancreatic ascites in cirrhosis of the liver. She should be seen by a gastrologist. Sometimes, vomiting occurs. Anemia is the cause of the chronic fatigue.;causing her to sleep a lot.

She needs to go for blood test, to determine the levels of the amylase and other stomach acids.

Clay-yellow stool could be indicative of a gall bladder problem.

I have seen a lot of patients with same symptoms you described when they are in a sickle cell anemia crisis. They have swollen feet and hands, bloated stomach, and in severe aches all over,as the sickle cells accumulate in the joints. and cramps They do require peritoneal dialysis.

I strongly urge you to convince her to go and see a gastrologist or internal medicine doctor. So .this doctor would order the appropriate tests and come up with the proper diagnosis and mode of treatment. She doesn't have to be a martyr and just suffer.

Your on overload and about to crash like a computer. Could be you're reading too much and using your brain excessively in learning and absorbing information. You've activated your brain too much and need to relax and give it a rest. Other than that, I would suggest you visit your doctor and explain the symptoms that you have here. It sounds as though it could be serious, you say three times in the past week, get yourself checked out and quickly. This can happen with a lot of stress and anxiety and keeps on building up to what your experiencing. Your adrenaline is way too high and over producing and giving you a buzz. givemestrength
