It depends on the look you're going for... you can pretty much go with any lighter shade, as sparse or thick as you'd like. I personally think that it looks most natural to have a few different levels of lightness, in golden blondes, caramels, and reds - if the brown base color is a warmer (golden) shade. If it's more of a flat brown or ash brown, varying levels of ash colors will look natural, but will make the hair look more greyish green. Not usually a color most desire. When going for a specific desired look with multiple colors, it's best left up to a professional.

medium blonde. not to light. or just a lighter bown would look nice =)..unless you want more of a sufer-ish look, then go for light blonde. =)
