I absolutely believe it based on my experiences. This is an absolutely true happening. When in my teens, 3 companions and myself went swimming in a nearby much smaller loch.
It was very still and quiet when suddenly the body of this enormous thing(It was like an eel's body but much, much more huge) briefly arched out of the water and disappeared again(without making a sound). Only I saw it and I yelled out to the others and rapidly got out in a panic. They stayed in thinking I was fooling around( and they never did believe me). But that was convincing enough for me to have no doubts whatsoever that Loch Ness has a monster or monsters. Had I been able to snap a shot of it I am sure that would have also convinced all those doubters out there

The Loch Ness Monster, sometimes called Nessie or Ness (Scottish Gaelic: Niseag), is a mysterious and unidentified animal or group of animals claimed by some to inhabit Loch Ness, a large deep freshwater loch near the city of Inverness in northern Scotland. Nessie is usually categorized as a type of lake monster. Its disputed "scientific" name, as chosen by the late Sir Peter Scott, is Nessiteras rhombopteryx. Although no evidence exists to suggest the alleged creature's gender, the nickname "Nessie" sounds feminine, so the creature is often referred to as female.
Along with Bigfoot and the Abominable Snowman, Nessie is one of the best-known mysteries of cryptozoology. Most scientists and other experts find current evidence supporting Nessie unpersuasive, and regard the occasional reports of sightings as hoaxes or misidentification of mundane creatures or natural phenomena. However, belief in the animal persists among many people around the world, with the most popular theory being that it is a plesiosaur.

Good Lord, are you serious?
There's hard proof that the Loch Ness monster was a hoax.
Don't you think if it was real that the government would have stepped in the verify this and possibly capture it for research?

Yeah the monster's real...only it's not a monster ... there was a similar beast caught off the coast of japan a few years ago, search the net for details, turns out it was a prehistoric monster that's still alive. One of many living fossils hahaha i hate evolution.

Do not go by word of mouth. You are going to have to go to Lake Erie yourself and take the camcorder and the Polaroid. Better yet get a boat and go to the middle of the lake and wait until night and get those pictures like everyone else.
