if you get pulled over and the officer finds out or get a ticket in the mail and don't respond to it, since obviously you don't live there anymore, then yes

Yes, and it is a criminal violation in most states. The law requires a driver to contact the DMV within a specific period of time from 10 to 30 days to make the notification.
Several states have on-line capabilities for address updates or will accept mail in forms.
The easy way is to tell the officer you JUST moved yesterday and haven't had a chance to do it yet.

According to the Ohio Revised Code (ORC) section 4507.09C:
Each person licensed as a driver shall notify the registrar of any change in the person's address with TEN (10) days following that change. The notification shall be in writing on a form provided by the registrar and shall include the full name, date of birth, license number, county of residence, social security number, and new address of the person.
Through our court it is a $335 fine, but courts set their own so it may be different for you. Changing your address through the BMV seems like a pretty simple way to save yourself $335.

yes! I just moved to Cali and they only give you 14 days. But you know check on line for your state dmv. If you google it, it will turn up the website you may be able to either do it totally online. OR at least get the paperwork filled out then just go in to the DMV.
Good Luck we all know DMV is about 2 miles north of HELL.

You can get a fine. The amount of time you have to change your address on your license is different in every state go take care of it before you get pulled over.

Most states allow a specified time period to get change of address info up to date. It varies from state to state.
If not sure what that time period is in your locale, call the local DMV or look them up on the Internet for details and such.

yes you can, normally they dismiss it at court if you appear and show you got it fixed.
In our department we never did ( only issued a warning) for address unless the person argued with us alot about the traffic stop

It is not legal in Georgia. Also, if you have a legal name change (marriage, divorce, etc) you cannot keep your old name. It's illegal as well.
