not sure about starbucks, but coffee contains an average of 100 milligrams of caffeine per cup

Starbucks ADDS caffeine (powder form probably) to its cups of coffee - not at the cup level of course.

That is why they are the coffee company of "choice" because people have become ADDicted to the extra caffeine. Grim and deceiving marketing techniques I say.
