Yes. In a large kennel of unspayed female dogs, you will find all of them coming into season within a few weeks of each other.

If an adult female is introduced into such a situation, she might come into a 'false heat', not actually fertile, when the other females do. By the time the next cycle comes around, this female is on schedule with the other girls.

In a two female situation, either female can switch their cycles to match the other.

Female dogs can come into heat anytime between the age of 5 months and 18 months. The signs are increased interest from male dogs, enlarged vulva, discharge from vulva, general change in character and sookiness. Do not risk these dogs producing a litter of inbred, unwanted puppies, get them desexed asap, at the very least get the female desexed and the male as soon as you can afford it. It is irresponsible to not get these dogs desexed. It is also irresponsible to keep a dog tied to a porch and to smack them. It is also irresponsible to be teaching your daughter that pets are not deserving of responsible care. If you can't afford to care for your dogs responsibly then you should not have them.

That's a good question. I think so considering when one woman is on their period, the women around them usally are affected. That's the same with female cats.

Yes, it does happen often. Just as women of childbearing years who live in the same household will have the periods about the same time each month. Hormones.

Yes it is true but, I do not know why it happens it just influences them to go into heat aswell, but it won't affect them if they are "fixed".

*NO!!!!!*

Just a stupid "granny-tale".

Bitches living together for YEARS will tend to synchronize "seasons" but that more due to SEASON of the YEAR!!!
