You can have many things wrong with it. You could have pulled the tendons and cause tenditis. You could have muscle strain. You could have a bone spur. If you have a bone spur. When you wake up and can't walk on that foot and it hurts and you want to punch the wall that's a bone spur. I have one in right heal.

You might even be flat footed that cause sore pain.

The only way to truly know why it hurts it to go the dr and have an x-ray of the foot. That will tell them exactly what it is wrong. I would suggest you buy a foot bath.. they help really good and there are relaxing or go have a foot massage they're even better, or even a pedicure. These are things that I do to help my foot.

Arthritis:
Tendinitis

What Is Tendinitis?

Tendinitis is an inflammation or irritation of the tendon, a thick cord that attaches bone to muscle.

What is a bone spur?

A bone spur (osteophyte) is a bony growth formed on normal bone. Most people think of something sharp when they think of a "spur," but a bone spur is just extra bone. It’s usually smooth, but it can cause wear and tear or pain if it presses or rubs on other bones or soft tissues such as ligaments, tendons, or nerves in the body. Common places for bone spurs include the spine, shoulders, hands, hips, knees, and feet.

I put some items from webmd on tendons and the bone spur.

Could be a lot of things. If it hurts all the time you should go see a Podiatrist or an Orthopedic doctor. It may be something simple that can be remedied easily.

You may have injured it. You should see your physiotherapist or podiatrist for an assessment. The longer you leave it the harder it will be to treat.
