No I agree with you. In many cases you either have bad plastic surgery or repeated surgeries and you get that shiny, plastic look, which is not appealing. Not a natural look.

Often it's because the skin is stretched out so much that it is tight and shiny.

Another thing that makes skin shiny is an acid peel, which burns of the top layer of skin. This however is not plastic surgery.

Plastic surgery is a specialty that uses surgical techniques to improve the appearance and function of patients' bodies. Some of these operations are called "cosmetic", and others are called "reconstructive". Nearly all of the operations that plastic surgeons themselves consider the highest achievements within their profession are in that second category: reconstructive.

It is essentially done in the early days of its practice, for really people requiring the skin surface to made up, because of deformation due to electric shocks, accidents etc., Yes, it was a very useful treatment for people. People more worried about their looks started having it done, to reshape their nose, chin etc., which is the trend of this age. more so, for who want to have the public's attraction. As one TV compere said that make up is done to all parts of the body where people see. Then you should know why people are worried.

I think that the new taught skin coupled with the application of makeup on top of dermabrasion, peels, and whatnot are what you're seeing moreso than actual plastic surgery itself.

It pulls at the skin and gives it that hue. I'd rather just get frickin old and proud of it!

It's been polished with a belt sander. They don't call it that, of course, but that's what it is.
