a couple different ppl have told me this a myth or true any one ever done this to find out ?!?!?!?!?

go buy a porkchop and some bleach and see

I know pork has parasites
not sure about maggots

I don't see how that could be possible. I don't think there are maggots in pork chops waiting to come out when bleach is poured on them. And, I don't think the chemicals in bleach and meat would cause maggots. It's a ridiculous myth. If you are so curious, just do it. I'm sure you are going to be amazed at the time you wasted to buy pork chops and bleach and actually test this..

No, not a on a regular pork chop. Leave it on the porch for a few days then pour bleach on it, and maggots will crawl out.

Its a total myth, you would see them if you cut up the pork when making them into smaller pieces for stews etc. I have never come across it but it all depends where you buy it from a reputable butcher. But legally you would not be able to sell pork like this or everyone would be suing like crazy. It may come from the story of tapeworms which used to be common in pork but its not as widespread.
