My husb. and I are about average weight, but just want to tone up.
Have you used one and what did you like/dislike about it?
Anything better? Trying to get one off ebay, not wanting to pay more than $1000. Thanks !

It will do what it made to do. If, you both do not commit to use it, then it a waste of money. I have seen many Treadmills that make an expensive coat rack. Try buying some of those Dumbbells like at Wal-Wort. All Steel or there some padded. Get pairs of various weights and learn how to do the different exercises with them. Sit-ups and Dumbbells. This keep you both toned. Then if you stay committed to these you may want something better. I really see no need than just this. Sit-ups tone your tummy. There exercises you can do for the legs and walking/running.

Truthfully, all you need is dumbells.Free weights are the best thing to use to build muscle and tone up.you'll save lots of money.Bowflex has a dumbell set that you can change the weight on by yourself,so that's all you'll need.

I've seen many people throwing them out on the curb. Paying 1000.00 is crazy.
