There is this girl who I'm pretty sure likes me, and we have a date for tomorrow. However,today she seemed kind of....cold...as if she weren't intrested. Why all of a sudden? Also, if it counts for anything, she told a friend of hers about our date. I'm kind of confused here....we're in high school by the way.

Her letting her friend know about this and acting cold means one thing and one thing only...she's nervous!!! Girls hide their emotions or feelings behind another emotion such as cold or mad (the ones more common). if you are nervous about the date, let her know. That will calm her down and she won't act like that anymore. She will feel like she's in a comfort zone and that's how she's going to act around you...comfortable. I hope this helps. If your date is still on then I wouldn't take the cold shoulder personally. Maybe she was just in a bad mood, or having a bad day. If she's cold all through your date then, yeah she's probably not into you. But if you're nervous, and worrying the entire date...it's going to show through, and probably be a bit of a turn off.

Just go out with her the next day and be really nice and if she acts the same way ask her whats the matter. She probably heard something about you from a jealous friend so don't change anything because depending on what she heard she might think it is true if you act like a jerk. Try to keep your relationship outside of school. (if you get to that point with her)

She was more than likely acting this way because she is nervous and afraid of how the date is going to go. If she told her friend then she is happy she got a date with you. So don't worry about nothing just go and have fun on the date, don't worry just go and have a fun night make the best of it. Then if it goes good then set up another one!

Observe and observe how girls react before you do anything . And also was you polite to her? Did you took the chair out for her to sit down, did open the door for her. Girls like you to be polite and respectul. And always listen to her what she has to say. Not all girls are the same thats why you observe and choose the right girl. And if she not for you don't woory you will find one. dont rush okay

Maybe it was just a bad day for her. Ask her if she needs anything from you or if everything is ok to show concern. Theres nothing personal to it but girls just get caught up there emotions. Good luck on your date.

Maybe she's just trying to act "cold" so that she doesn't appear too interested. It could just be her way of self-preservation.
Go on your date, and enjoy your time together. If she still acts snobby towards you, then forget about her.

she could be playing hard to get or maybe shes just in a bad mood. Don't let it get to you she was probably just moody. i mean she wouldnt go out on a date with you if she didnt like you so obviously, she likes you.

ha, that's high school though. just go on the date. it will be fun. if she agreed to go on a date with you isn't that enough of a hint that she likes you or do you need her to make a bigger one?
