I have reasons to believe that my boyfriend is going to propose very soon. Does a simple "Yes" or "Of course" sound a bit empty or is it better than overtalking and ruining the moment. This is very important to me. We have been together for over ten years now and he is the man of my life. I love him more each day it passes. I want it to be perfect. Any suggestions? Thanks

Let your heart answer and it will have all the words you need. Say what you just said to us and don't worry. No matter what happens it will be perfect.
when he was going to propose my husband took me to our favorite restaurant and waited for the perfect moment to pop the question. Well the moment never seemed to arrive and he wound up proposing to me in the elevator after we left the place. It did not matter. I was thrilled to death, he was the love of my life. It was so wonderful at the moment and it made a wonderful story we told for years. It was the beginning of our life together that lasted for 30 years. He was the love of my life and still is. I was the love of his life right until the moment he died last year.

i agree with the first comment...when the time comes, u'll be so overwhelmed that u won't even rememver half the stff people wrote here....everything will come out on its own..everything that u REALLY mean,....wht's the fun in rehearsing ur answer to a proposal?....i hope all ur wishes come true and have a happy life...have fun!! rememeber: it's all in the moment :)

when he asks the question give him a kiss before you say anything and then look into his eyes and tell him that yes you would love to marry him and then give him a hug. Good Luck and congratulations.

Two things to think about
1. actions speak louder than words.
2. most guys are clueless so no matter what else you say or do.. make sure you say the word yes and he knows you mean about marrying him.

when he does, if you're anything like me, you might be speechless and only able to nod...................sounds cheesy, but when emotions take over you might not have any control...in fact, try not to think about it too much or your answer may sound fake and forced!! good luck to you!
