My arms and legs were trembling for several minutes, perhaps a half hour after I got out.

The aircon was on, I'd been in the warm (not hot) bath for about 30 minutes and I'd been eating properly. Any ideas?

You may have been chilly.
Or, after being in the water where your limbs were floating & supported by the water, they may have temporarily grown acclimated to being held up. So, when you got out of the tub, they suddenly had to support your frame again, & they were trembling as they adjusted back to this.

Did you eat before going into the bath/shower? Did you drink water before going into the tub/shower?

I'm not a doctor period and I speak only from my personal experience. But exactly what you described is what happened to me back in 1996...I almost passed out as soon as I got out of the shower. My instincts kicked in and told me to eat sugar...I went and gulp down two tablespoons of sugar and two glasses of water. Boom within minutes I was A OK. Two days later I went to see my doctor and was informed that what I had was a 'Low Sugar" attack because I was unaware I had type two diabetes. Type two diabetes is very treatable and you can live pretty much normally with adjustments in your diet and an exercise regimen and some medicine. Don't be terrified just be careful and consult your doctor as soon as possible. Hope this is helpful to you in a POSITIVE way.
