I use applesauce in place of vegetable oil in some of my own recipies, and it works brilliantly, while significantly lowering the fat level of the finished product.

Melted butter or melted lard/shortening/Crisco. It may change the texture a little bit, but that's OK.
This sounds gross, but some cake mixes substitute mayonnaise -- which is mostly vegetable oil and egg. You can't taste the mayo at all, and many people swear that it's a tenderer and moister cake.

I am a health chef helping people with there health. Any Way I am here to let you know that vegetable oil and corn oil is not good for your health because it clog up your heart. Therefore, the best way is to use olive oil. It brings out the best in all of your food.

1 cup melted butter, margarine or shortening can be substituted for 1 cup oil.
