I can answer half of your question the part about what does America the Beautiful mean. This song has always been a favorite of mine because I am so patriotic. It means that God made a spacious sky over golden grains growing in the fields. The beautiful flowers growing on the mountain sides and the plains are filled with fruits of all kinds. We're asking for God to bless America from the west coast to the east coast. Maybe you should sit down and really listen to this wonderful song. It just makes me so proud to live in the greatest nation under God.
