This fudge had chocolate and maple flavours - you simply melted the butter and stirred everything up in a pan and then put it into a small white plastic tray - I'd do anything to find some - but I think they got rid of the product around 1984-5 around there. Does anyone remember this at all?

Had a Thanksgiving dinner at my new girl friend's parents in Vermont back in the 80's. Her parents were born and raised in this small country town. The entire dinner and home came right out of a Norman Rockwell painting. Desserts came with fresh whipped cream. I was told to wait for "John's Fudge", her dad. I could not wait for his "homemade" fudge. I told John how much I enjoyed this Thanksgiving in Vermont and especially his "fudge". John said, "Ayup, 4 minutes in the microwave". The whole family laughed as my jaw dropped. Fudge is the only thing that John can "cook".

Happy Thanksgiving to All

I think it was Betty Crocker 4 Minute Fudge in a red box. Does that ring a bell???? That is what I am remembering. I never used that, always made the Fantasy Fudge and my friend makes the best fudge ever with the Fanny Farmer recipe.

I don't remember that we always made our own.

Eagle brand has a quick box fudge that is very good! quick and easy to make takes only minutes.
