I run fantastically a lot 10 miles an afternoon and that i continually have a large dinner and breakfast, thats severe in carbs. yet only earlier a run i want to make constructive i have had a bottle or water or 2 (counting on how warm that's) and frequently an effect bar or some thing with some carbs and protein after I first all started operating about 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and a 1/2 in the past i could not even do a mile without preventing, the hardest area is the tension on your knees and ankles, in the journey that your not use to the line, bypass back and fourth between it and the airborne dirt and dust till eventually you construct as a lot as staying on the asphalt . reliable good fortune!

Definitely something high in complex carbs.
Maybe some oatmeal, like the kind you make on the stove (not the instant sugary stuff)?
That would probably digest well, too.
***To the banana people. I doubt bananas would be beneficial. They are high in simple carbs (sugar) and the energizing effects would most likely wear off after a short period of time.
They would be better for like a 2K race.

I say Bananas. They have vitamin B that will give you long lasting energy to get you through the race. Also they have potassium and I think that helps against cramping. Make sure you drink water too, to help your aching muscles and to keep yourself hydrated.
