Weather etc. in Mallorca in January?

Hola todos,
going there for a week and wondering what clothes to pack? I'm assuming that you won't need your bikini but what's the common "dressing code"?
And also, how are Spanish celebrating the New Year?

I would say that the temperature will be between 45 to 60 f.

Depending where you stay , they could a heated pool in your hotel,if you like to excercise.
I would bring Casual Chic . In the USA , there is a chain called Zara, buy a couple of items there, You do not want to look too American. Palma is fairly safe, but there a lot of petty crime, from North Africans, and South Americans.
In Palma there are many Restaurants and Discos.
If you decide to go and eat out , please book early.
Reservations will be full in the best places.
Remember, that Spanish tend to eat late at night, around 22h (10)
