The "abs" are you abdominal muscles - the ones that stretch across your stomach.
The problem is: what type of exercise is it?
If its to increase the muscles, then all you will do is replace your belly fat with muscles and that may not be what you want.
But if the exercise is to tone the muscles and burn fat, they may work great.

You cannot loose fat in a specific place. If you want to loose your belly fat, you will need to start an aerobic excersize regiment to burn overall body fat.

Those excersizes are probably designed to build abdominal muscle, which may give you the appearance of a tighter tummy, but will not do anything to actually deal with the real situation.

Hop on a treadmill or a cross trainer or something and get that heart rate up!! :)

Ab exercises will not help get rid of belly fat. They will make muscles under the fat, but you need to do cardio to get rid of the belly fat first - sorry!!!!

I don't think it would hurt anyway. Try it and find out!

Good luck!
