No, I felt that they did a very unselfish act in letting Santa take the credit for all the gifts to allow me a little fantacy in my life. I will always be greatful.

No... It kinda became a joke.... I just kept pretending the extra gift was from Santa and not from Mom &Dad. Also, at a very young age I noticed the handwriting on the gift was the same as Mom's on the gift. instead of being mad, I didn't even ask her, I thought she still believed in santa so I told her the next morning that I had seen Santa eat the cookies and he gave me a hug. I thought I was saving my Mom's feelings from being hurt, to not tell her that santa wasn't real. Anyways, the true meaning of Christmas is about Jesus Christ... why do you think they call it CHRISTmas?????

I was understandably a little upset, but I feel worse about it now after knowing that my mom went in the bathroom and cried after she told me and then when she came out I demanded to know if the tooth fairy was real...
Isn't odd that once I found out that santa wasn't real I still thought the easter bunny and the tooth fairy were real?

Oh boy yes i was! I was 6 years old and so eager for Santa to come and give me presents. I couldn't go to sleep. Sooo... around 4:00 am i snuck downstairs with my older brother (he was 8). We saw the presents under the tree...we nearly shouted out but we didn't want to wake our parents up! Then, we walked down the hall to the family room to the stockings...and we saw my mom stuffing them...I turned around, ran to my room and cried for hours until i fell back asleep. It was the worst Christmas ever and the Christmas i found out my parents were lying 3!

Yeah, I cried in my room for so long and made my parents feel so guilty about it. I was 12.
But they went up to my room and gave me a cuddle and told me it'll be okay. they said they'd still give me treats in my stocking and gifts wrapped under the tree.
I said it wouldn't be the same. They replied, how it's a Christmas tradition and think of it as a Christmas tradition.
I still kinda cry when I think about it all how the parents go through all that work trying to please their kids and the kids don't always show some respect to the parents and I feel real bad for being a bad at times. They did all that for me and I would feel like crap causing them stress.
Now I feel so lucky to have wonderful parents who do so much for them, I try to think of ways to reward them for being good parents.
To this day, I still try to believe in Santa to feel youthful and spread the cheer, cuz I feel like a kid inside me most of the time even though I am 21.

I found out when I was 8 and I was really angry. My parents used to give us alot of trouble for lying and then we find out that they lied to us for years and years. And about alot of things too. Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, Santa, talk about crushing a kid. That's why I didn't want to do all of that with my children but my husband thinks very strongly the other way. I told him that he gets to be the one to tell them that it's not real and why we did it.
