If you need more than he can offer, you should sit down and talk it over with him. If you cannot come to a compromise and he cannot at least answer you once in a while. Tell him your expectations of a relationship. If your expectations are not being met and he isn't trying to a point, then you can tell him in person that you need more. Nothing wrong with what you need. If you don't constantly call or IM him, I do not see why he can't take a few seconds to IM you or call you. If I had a boyfriend, I would make time, and call him. After all, if he is busy, it can be just a 30 second call saying.... I am busy, just wanted to say hi and to have a good evening. It sounds like he really isn't interested if he isn't even talking to you at school. I think it is better to talk about it in person versus over the phone.

I would be nice to him...but I would not even try to talk about it forcefully! Just when he does come around to talking to you...be short and sweet about answers mostly listen feel it out then tell him it's just not right at this time. Let it go and move on. Don't call or try to im anymore...let him come to you. It does sound like he is avoiding you because you are right there....guys at that age or any really are not to respectful to the HERE I AM chicks....I am sorry if you really like him...but just give it space and do not expect things either way. You will end up much happier!

It sounds like his Mom and Dad would not approve of him dating a freshman if hes a senior...and the next week when he comes over is he telling his mom and dad something else as to where hes going? Sounds like hes trying to be careful.. because you are young...maybe you should cut the ties and find someone closer to your own age..after all he will be graduating soon..and you will be past history.... gl

I'd say you wait you 2 meet together and spend time together... then you can see how he acts towards you and you can ask him why he hasnt much talked to you and you can know for sure if he is lying or not. Maybe he really is busy.

I would call it off. From reading about what he's doing so far, I have a feeling he's going to make up an excuse of why he can't come over next week.

love means patience ,endurance and commitment. He has to help his mother and father to build the house, this indictaes that he is a man of responsibility. If you are seeking a playboy or dude, you may feel warm because of the acompany of the lover, but, any man,in my opinion.should be considered as someone successful, responsible and helpful.Because none of the woman in my motherland (China) likes those good-for -nothing husband.anyhow, the advice I can give is cherish your boyfriend instead of perish this relationship.
Though we are from the different culture backgrounds, the love means the same .

I think you should wait until next week and have a talk with him, let him know how you feel and find out how he feels. I wouldn't call him until next week, let him miss you for awhile. Don't chase him.

okay- the best thing to do here is play hard to get. its the only sure way to get his attention now if youve already lost it- act like youre busy too, even if youre not. dont plan your life around the next time youll get to see him. in fact, when he wants to get together, tell him you already have plans- play the game! if youve already scheduled a time to meet, tell him you forgot. itll keep him wanting YOU. not the other way around.
