I'm ok, not been sick yet.

Just ate them with mushy peas, that helped.

Sorry, but I am now cooking a good Steak n' Kidney pie with chips to get rid of the taste.

With a coke to wash it down.

So, what on earth is Roe?

Think it had something to do with fish, but as I am no longer talking to my wife, who knows?

the Abortion 'rules' by virtue of roe v wade won't change. What DOES change is the government's participation in the act. We are now funding abortions over seas. There has been no mandate for that. No referendum. 0'Bama just did it. With this power at the disposal of the president, the populous has a moral obligation to ask the questions and examine the subject. We have a right to know where the people we elect stand on the issue one way or the other, before we go into the ballot booth.

Roe is fish eggs - like caviar but cheaper. In Pennsylvania and NJ shad caught in the Delaware river has been prized for centuries for the shad roe - pounds of fish eggs in every female shad. You can fry it or mix it into an omelet. It don't know how yours was cooked but done right it is great.

Fish eggs

EDIT

The suggestion of eating roe with toast only really works for soft roes (the male reproductive system, including sperm, of the fish - properly called milt), not for hard roes (the actual egg sacs of the female fish).

Fish eggs, but I am not sure the mushy peas were the best accompaniment! Try again some time, but with toast points and butter.
