maxium 4hours...it says on the box when you first buy it

In an insulated lunch box about 8 hours. I pack them in with the kids lunch and when school is out they are still cold.

well, one time i wet to bed with an ice-pack on my ankle and when i woke up it was melted so i'd sayy hmm about 6 hrs..
