A healthy meal in essence is a balanced meal with little added sugar and fat. An example of a balanced and easy to prepare meal is my Cashew and Apple salad. Take about a cup of fresh spinach leaves, two tablespoons of cashews, one small apple cut into bite size pieces, four ounces of chopped and cooked chicken breast and one tablespoon of your favorite fat free dressing toss it all together and enjoy! I am edditing this to include snacks as well, I forgot to earlier. So here's a list of healthy and nutritious, even yummy snacks. A piece of fruit, a small handfull of nuts, half an avacado apread on whole grain toast, or fat free no sugar added yougurt.

^^Lachele knows what she is talking about. The others, not so much.
You see, those 100 calorie packs may be low in calories, but they are processed foods. That means that they have little nutritional value and contain empty calories.
Some healthy snacks:
Peanuts
Soy beans
cottage cheese
just about any fruit or vegetable
chicken
turkey
