Tell him you're gonna make him wear diapers again like a baby

I suggest you buy a small alarm. Put him in underpants.

Set the alarm to go off every hour. Explain to him that every time the alarm goes off and he didn't have an accident he gets a reward.. like a star sticker on a chart. Once he has 5 (or however many you wish) stars he gets a prize.. stamps or stickers or a snack.. something minor.

Give lots of positive reinforcement since the spanking/yelling method isn't working for you.

Keep a potty chair in the room he is in and encourage him to go often.

If you need to go back to the method where you give him a bunch of salty snacks like pretzels, then a ton of liquids and let him sit until he goes- do it. It's better to go back a little and re-train then to start a cycle of spankings and bad behavior.

Continue spanking because its obvious that your three year old will be very rebellious if you don't get a serious grip.

What you are after is total respect to all mankind because if you don't get tuff, somebody else will and I promise you that you won't like it.

So for the benefit of your child's survival, spank spank spank and don't hug him when your are finish. He needs to know that you are the boss always.

What three year old you know pay their momma's bills?

You can't let a three year old take over or take control. You will be a weeping momma if you do. So love your boy and spare his life before somebody takes it

I bet he won't laugh anymore you spank that *ss and when he's grown you would have made him a decent friend, husband and employee

Once you show him that you are in control and he can't take over, a miracle will occur

Spanking is good, make sure to pull down his trousers and spank him,it will hurt so he won't laugh. Threaten to treat him like a baby and out him back in diapers. The alarm idea also worked for a friend of mine,if they think they will get somehting out of using the toilet they will be more inclined to use it.Good luck

Ask him "are you a baby" he'll say no you say "only babies go potty on the floor". That certainly worked for me. Whatever you do, don't spank him, cause when he gets older he'll learn about child abuse and he might sue you or something. And please toilet train him. If he goes potty on the floor he is not potty trained!!!1

Throw some Cheerios in the toilet and call it target practice. It worked so well with my son. Give rewards after all successes. I gave out stickers that they picked out themselves, other people I know have used candy.

Could be that he is taking too long to stop and use the bathroom. Could be that he knows you will clean it up for attention. Put it in the trash with a toy of his each time. He'll get the point quickly. Worked for me. Good luck and get lots of Resolve for the carpets!

Make him sit on the pot every two hours. praise him when he does the right thing and shame him in front of others when he does the wrong thing. leave his mess on the floor so grandma will see it and be ashamed of him when she comes over.

Obviously if he is pooping and pissing on the floor he isn't potty trained, and of course he is going to laugh at you.
