i met a girl today in my school office (both sick), and she is beautful. She gave me her myspace and told me to add her. I already like her a lot, but she is my best friends ex. What do I do?

I agree with Amelia...my son went through the same thing and his best friend had the manhood to at least ask him if it was ok. Be careful not to share too much of your dating life with her with your best friend. Just keep it as like you are dating someone. Be aware even if he says OK you will hear a few jokes from friends about coming in "from behind" on your friends girls. My sons friend did and it bothered him alot.

I also be up front with the ex and mention that you like her a lot and ask how he is with this.
Chances are it won't make any difference at all, if it does, make a decision for yourself.
At least you are being mature about it first.

actually do no longer ask her on a date yet. you in simple terms met her so take it elementary. Get to renowned her extra helpful, make her your buddy first & see how she reacts to you. start to gently flirt and take it from there. ;)

wow,this is tough! ask your friend if he would mind if you went out with her. if she meant alot to him,chill cause friends are hard to come by and girls come a dime a dozen,feel me? but if he gives the okay and you believe that he won't be hurt by it go ahead get your freak on!!!

While you are asking your best friend for permission, ask WHY they aren't still together. That might save you some aggravation.

ask your best friend if it bothers him if you go out with his ex. if he says yes then you probably dont want to throw away your friendship for some girl. if he says that it is cool and that he would be happy for you then go on ahead and ask her out.
