You might just be thinking all your hair is going to fall out. Very unlikely though. Most hair coloring products today have built in controls that make the product stop its coloring function after a safe period of time has elapsed. It's a built in feature to prevent people from destroying their hair and wanting to sue the hair coloring company afterwards.
The unusually larger amount of hair you are finding is probably because you followed the product manufacturer's instruction not to wash your hair for a given period of time to help allow the color to set.
Individual hairs die (stop growing) and are replaced with new ones every day. Washing your hair on a daily basis gets rid of those dead hairs. They get washed down the drain. If you go from washing your hair every day to waiting for a week or so to allow the color to set in, you'll then wash away 7 times more hair at the end of the week. That can easily make you think you're losing your hair.
Don't panic. Even if you did somehow screw up royally, there's always the wig while your hair grows back. In as little as a month, a couple of inches will have grown back, and you'll have a cute short hairdo.
I know some of what I said will not make you feel comfortable, but trust me, the chances that you are losing your hair because you screwed up your haircoloring are slim to none.

It's okay just don't die it again I've died my hair over 5 times and it falls out. Its sorta telling you that it shouldnt get died agian by falling out. Well thats not the real reason but coloring your hair is really bad for your hair. So just becareful with it. Maybe stay away from curling irons and hair straigtners also don't get your hair permed when it stops falling out and it will. Then use that stuff if you'd like But I wouldnt recomend it everybodys hair is different some hair can take more coloring than others your hair might just be a bit sensitive.
I'm sorry your hair is falling out but it will stop soon I promise.
Good day to you.
Lynn

What color did you dye it? If you went from a light color to a dark color, it may look like a lot of hair is falling out, when actually it's the normal amount, it's just easier to see now that it's darker. If not, it may just be stress. If you still think it's a lot of hair you're losing, I'd go to the doctor.

Your hair may be breaking, but color will not cause it to fall out. Breakage occurs when the hair's strength is compromised by over processing. You will not go bald from hair color.
