Well, girls tend to see parties as places to socialize in general, while single guys tend to see parties as places to pick up girls. Usually when a faithful guy is in a relationship, he just sees a party as a place to hang out with his friends. However, he knows that all the single guys in the place are going to be looking for girls, and he would probably feel a little more uncomfortable bringing you into the sort of environment where he knows he may have competition. It's unreasonable, I know, but it's the truth. If you ever do go to a party with him, just stay really close to him, if other guys hit on you, let them know immediately that you're with your boyfriend (don't say that they're just trying to be nice, your bf knows better), and certainly don't dance with other guys.
That's just one case, though. It's also likely that he's totally secure with your relationship and just wants a place to act like a dude.

Well, generally, if a guy goes "with" a girl to a party or a nightclub, the general impression people get from that is that he's dating the girl.
It doesn't matter what the actual truth behind it is, it's the impression that your guy friend is thinking about.
Also... maybe this guy is not sure if he's just friends with you or not, and he could be wanting to meet other girls when he's partying. Either (1) he doesn't want to hurt your feelings by hitting on these girls when you're around, or (2) he thinks you hanging around might hurt his chances with the ladies.
That last part was just speculation, but generally, people are very concerned with what impression they make.

I party with girls almsot exclusively. Guys just seem to be out looking to get laid while girls are looking for fun. I never found someone while looking for them i just went to have fun and always found someone.
I did get an unofficial position at the club as a Leech Remover. If a guy would come up behind a girl and start trying to dance with her and she would move away i'd look to see if he followed her if he did and she tried to move away again i'd walk up to her and start dancing with her until he left. Then i'd ask he if she was fine now and then go back to where i was.
Guys when a girl walks away she's not interested don't make yourself look desperate.

Oh, he must be in his 20's. He does this to get noticed and a single guy. He just wants to have fun and hang with his guys friends too. Maybe he's afraid if the girl he likes see another girl looking at him a fight might start or something similar. He's young, have fun, enjoy life, you only get one chance!!!!

Guys are guys the like to hang out with each other and tell stories and have fun, sometimes they like doing that without girls because the be doing things that....Well you know! But if the reason you are asking is why well it is simple either he doesn't want you around his friends because he don't want you to know them and vice~versa or he is just wanting to have fun with the fellas, that simple.

Probably because he doesn't want his friends to know or he has more in common with boys so he'll spend most of his time with the boys. But once he goes study with u he will hang out with u more!!
