Used to be under dos you typed dir>LPT1

you could do a screen capture but you can't send that to
a editable file........

There are shareware programs to do it, but I use a simple DOS command to do it. Go to the directory you want using the Command prompt, and type this in:
DIR > Directory.Txt
That'll put a plain text file of the directory's contents as a text file called "directory.txt" in that folder. Then just print out that file. Good luck.

The dir > LPT1 should work provided your printer is on that port. Check your printer properties to see if it is on something else. If it is a USB or network printer then it is definitly on another port besides LPT1. You could map the printer to LPT1 but that shouldn't be nesassary.

You could also use the same output command but instead of sending it directly to the printer, send it to a txt file. Then print that file.

to bad you cant do that in windows, but there is a shareware program that ads an explorer shell option to print directory tree.
