I would like to be able to have a video camera on the front door that is tide into the whole system, but i would like the video to be able to apear on all of the tvs. I have a third story which i have all of the cable wires run to where i can link them all together to make one coaxial cable that will link to all tvs, but i want to know how to incorporate a camera into a main intercom system so that when someone presses the button at the door, the camera sends an image to the tv, and the audio comes over all of the intercom units inside. I am completley open to all ideas. Is this possible?

Use a camera like this one from Fry's. It has a built-in microphone, so you don't need a separate intercom to hear them if that's all you want to do. The audio and video can be distributed like any other A/V signals. When you hear the intercom, use your TV remote to switch to the video input that has your camera on it. That gives you more control of when you view the outside (in case there's an important plot point on TV when the button is pressed).

Or, go with a web cam system and use networking to link everything together. More complicated, but would be totally flexible if you change your mind later on how everything should interact.
