Then again, the people that review these writings are pretty well educated and trying to do the best thing. Since I have been there, they work hard, argue over everything, and accept only the truth, as best as they see it. You have no idea how hard this is, how hard you must study, how much you must know. It is so simple to be young, and so hard to create a life and to gain wisdom.
Yes, there is a lot of debate. It is not like you think. Go to any court and indict people based on perception. Sorry, does not work that way.

That is a common misconception of the Bible. Actually for everything in the Bible, it has early manuscript evidence. The manuscripts we have are in the ORIGINAL LANGUAGE, not translations. Many of the translations you see in book stores were made BASED on these original manuscripts and not a previous translation. When you see the word PARAPHRASE, that is what a translation of a translation is.
Want to know something about the Quran? Its pretty funny actually. After Muhammad died, people started piecing together different versions of the Quran with different teachings. It wasnt until the 3rd caliph (Uthman) that they standardized the Quran into 1 edition and subsequently burned the other copies. It is true it has not changed from THAT copy but the problem is we have no idea what the other Qurans said. So basically Uthman got to choose whatever he wanted in the official Quran to be used and burned the rest. So from now on you can tell people that the UTHMAN QURAN has not been changed. The others have been lost.

i have a problem with Hand_of_Justice21's misconception of the Qur'an.
no it is not funny that U THINK "After Muhammad died, people started piecing together different versions of the Quran with different teachings".
these are not different teachings. there are merely literally different written ways of the Quran. In the end, the final chosen one was the version that was from the Quraisy tribe as Muhammad was from the Quraisy tribe. that was how precise the compilation of the Quran was. And it is the Qur'an used now still.
what is more "funny" though is how long after Jesus was the bible is compiled. 200 years after Jesus? and who decides which "God breath" scriptures goes to final "bible"? and was the term "bible" even mentioned in the "bible"?
do read up on your facts first.

SO if someone were to make a newer religious book, would that be better? Just because it's newer does not mean it is inherently more pure, some would argue the opposite, actually..

The bible account and Jesus resurrection was witnessed by hundreds of people. Who saw Jesus resurrected the death, heal the sick and walk on water.
Mohammad was the only one who said God spoke to him.
Reading the quaran you can see that it is a ranting of a mad man.
Who was into controlling people and women and using them for his own pleasure.
