I agree. There is no intelligent life on earth because although humans are incredible animals that can build great structures and do great things, we still are governed by our instincts. Instincts to fear the unknown, instincts to use the easy way out, instincts to turn of our mind and use imaginary entities to explain the world around us, instincts to fight death and aging, instincts to mate and have sex, and instinct to gain power. Until we break free of this and evolve to the next step where we move forward to solely understand the world around us and learn how to act without greed we are not intelligent creatures.

The fact that there are atheists proves humans are capable of overcoming their most basic instinct, FEAR.

So I would say yes, there is intelligent life on earth, but it's a rather small percentage of atheists.

Beautiful question! Absolutely true. Life here goes three steps forwards and two and a half backwards. Evolution establishes only better ways to reproduce for the perpetuation of the species, not for the growth of the individual in wisdom.

Too much - intelligence seems to mean wanting to change the world around us to make it the way we think it should be - but also not enough for us to let nature be, and live within it in a sustainable way, rather than destroying it for our own greed and short-term gain.

insects reptiles birds ,mammals ,plants tres rock and even minerals seem to have great intelligence ..

then there are spirits of nature elf fae goblins and the like

I suppose that is plenty of intelligence ....

there is a strange phenomen on the planet a sort of ignorant parasytical arrogant species
infesting it call themeselves hu_ man
none knows how they managed to pillage, rape and almost destroy the planet in the short life span given to them ..luckily they are on the verge of estinction ..hopefully without damaging the other species
